Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers, or JUVÉDERM® fillers themselves, are an excellent alternative for those looking to give themselves some facial rejuvenation. This can include reducing fine lines and wrinkles, plumping areas with muscle depletion and fat loss, and even covering or hiding scars and other imperfections within our facial structure. Dermal fillers are a non-invasive anti-aging alternative, along with its BOTOX® counterpart, that is low-maintenance and quickly touched up here at Infinite Medical Spa in Gering, Nebraska.

Dermal fillers are gel-based products that are absorbed by our bodies. They do not hinder any muscle movement, and they can typically last longer than a BOTOX® treatment, with some fillers lasting from six months to even two years!

When we use dermal fillers to fill in the fine lines and plump the skin, this process encourages the “youthful appearance” we lose as we age. Collagen, which keeps the skin plump and full as young adults, reduces over time within the skin. Our skin, in turn, gets more saggy and shows aging more accessible without the volume to keep skin tight. Once dermal fillers are injected in these areas that have lost volume, the lines and sagging skin are pulled tight once again to make room for these products under our skin.

At Infinite Medical Spa, all JUVÉDERM® fillers are available for pre-order. When you book an appointment with our team, we will consult with you to see what your overall goals are with your skin rejuvenation, and we will discuss each of the products that we find would be best for you. Some of the most common JUVÉDERM® fillers are as follows: JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC, JUVÉDERM® XC, JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC, and more. These products fulfill different roles and are commonly placed in different areas of the face and even the body.

Treatment Areas for JUVÉDERM® Filler:

  • Lips

  • Forehead

  • Cheeks

  • Chin

  • Jawline

  • Marionette Lines

Along with these more common uses for dermal fillers, these products can also hide scarring, especially acne scarring.

Dermal Filler Aftercare:

After your appointment, taking extra care of the areas treated with dermal fillers is essential. Depending on the advice from our specialists, your healing process may involve avoiding alcohol, staying hydrated, icing the treatment areas, and even massaging the treatment area. It is important to remember that you will usually not see the “final result” of dermal fillers until after two weeks, so know that the volume levels you achieve immediately after your appointment will differ a bit.

Book an appointment with us today to see what dermal filler treatment would be best for your skin concerns, and let’s chat about your goals for your face, body, and health!
